One of our favorite memories, beside the day we got engaged; would have to be when we got our puppy Astro.

We were both laying in bed and Eric showed me pictures from an acquaintance’s Instagram. Eric and I agreed we would go to just take a look since we had been wanting a puppy. About an hour later we decided to stop by.

Once we arrived, we had seen a few miniature dachshunds. Before we headed to the back to take a look at other breeds they had, I picked up Astro and never put him down. He was about 3 months at the time.

Eric and I both loved him right away.
I carried him the entire time we were looking at the other dogs. He even fell asleep in my arms oh so effortlessly.

Right away we knew, no matter how many dogs we had seen…he was the one meant for us. Eric especially knew I wasn’t going to leave without getting him! We were on the same page 100% because he fell in love too. Even though we were just going to “look”.

Now his crazy, loving, sassy little self, is the absolute love of our lives!
Getting Astro was the best/biggest first decision we had made as a couple.
That day will forever be an amazing memory because this little pup has brought us both a tremendous amount of love and joy.
